This green smoothie recipe is packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber from the spinach and cucumber, while the banana and pineapple add natural sweetness and a tropical twist. It's a great way to kick-start your day or as a healthy snack to keep you energized.
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)
- Peel the banana and chop it into chunks.
- Place the banana, spinach leaves, cucumber, pineapple, almond milk, and sweetener (if desired) in a blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
- If desired, add a handful of ice cubes to make the smoothie colder and refreshing. Blend for a few more seconds.
- Pour the green smoothie into a glass, garnish with a slice of cucumber or a sprinkle of chia seeds if you like, and enjoy!
